Q: What discounts are available?

MedEntry offers several ongoing discounts: The Premium Group - allows two or more friends to each buy a Premium package at a discounted rate. Once two or more students have each purchased their own Premium Group package they can form a group and have access to all the benefits of a Premium Individual package. The Premium Group is not available for Headstart packages. Last Year's Student discount - is automatically applied when buying the next UCAT preparation package within 12 months of the last package expiring and using the same email login as before. This discount does not apply to a Premium Group package or any of the Headstart packages. The Teacher / Principal Nominated UCAT bursary - is available to students who are nominated by their current or past teacher / careers adviser / principal. This is for the single year Premium Individual package. Schools can nominate one student per year. When is the best time to begin preparation for HPAT?

When to begin HPAT preparation is a difficult question and one that is very individual. Many students prefer to get started early given that: a) they realise they are going to be exceptionally busy in their final year and b) they realise how important the HPAT is (i.e. equal to or even more important than final exams)

A small proportion of our students are in year 5 or below. Getting started early means reducing the stress/workload in year 6 when students will have less time for HPAT study. The HPAT can change from year to year but the changes are not very significant. One option is to purchase a multiyear package from now until the HPAT. The advantage is that there it locks in current prices and there is no more to pay. Please see: https://www.medentry-hpat.ie/hpat-headstart On the flipside, of course, cost is an issue. We offer students access to online materials until the next HPAT date (so, for example, if you purchased a package now, you would get access until the HPAT test date in late February). How many people do I need to form a group

A group consists of at least 2 people (you and one other) each buying their own Premium Group package and then linking the packages to access the full benefits of the Premium package. You can, however, invite more friends (who must each buy a Premium Group) to join the group - up to a maximum of fifteen.

Question 4

How do I book a workshop?

Accepted Answer

To book yourself into one of the HPAT Workshops you will need to ensure that you have bought one of the following:

HPAT Workshop*
The Premium - Individual Package
The Premium - Group Package*-
The Comprehensive Package

*You might need to buy the Essential Package along with it.
*-You can only book the HPAT Workshop after your group is complete.

Once you have ensured you meet one of the above conditions you can book yourself into one of the available HPAT Workshops. You can do this by the following steps:

Log into the Online Learning Platform
In the left navigation bar, click on the ‘Live Events’
That will open the drop-down options which will allow you to click ‘Dr. Ann’s Workshop’
After clicking ‘Dr. Ann’s Workshop’ you will have the option to book your HPAT Workshop by clicking ‘Book’ to view available bookings
Select the date of the workshop you would like and then confirm

How long do I have access to the packages for?

Our HPAT packages run according to the HPAT cycle, which means they start the beginning of March and run to February of the following year.
If you are not in your final year you may choose to purchase a Headstart (multiyear) package which will run from the time of purchase until your exam - https://www.medentry-hpat.ie/hpat-headstart.

Refund/Return Policy

Accepted Answer

Returns, refunds or exchanges will not be provided unless there are exceptional circumstances and the decision whether to provide a return, refund or exchange is solely at MedEntry's discretion.

To apply for a refund in any situation (whether they relate to goods or services), a request in writing will need to be provided to MedEntry stating your name and contact details, the full history of the transaction in question, a detailed list of reasons why you are requesting a refund/exchange, the contact person that you have dealt with from MedEntry, copies of all relevant documents related to the situation and any other documents. Refunds will only be considered if a request is made in writing by email within one week of the date of purchase.

All requests for refunds will incur an administration and banking surcharge of at least 20%. Credit may be given, at our discretion, to other MedEntry courses or products after cancellations. Refunds for individual components of a package will not be considered under any circumstances.

Goods: Exceptional circumstances’ include if the goods/services are ‘seriously defective’ and within MedEntry’s control. Evidence must be provided. MedEntry may offer an appropriate remedy/alternative depending on the nature of the defect.
Services: Cancellations will only be considered for a refund if all the above requirements have been met.
